BN train 133 getting some orders at Bellingham from the operator via the "hoop". Actually I replaced that operator and did all the hoop-ups from 1981-83.

Gregg Bartley General That's a pretty great look at history. Kinda low tech, but I bet it didn't fail that often. And if your hoop broke, you could go to the sporting goods store and get a lacrosse stick. 2/10/2015 11:53:11 AM
S.L. Dixon General Hoops never broke but poorly tied strings did from time to time. I was an ace at tying strings..could tie 4 per minute. 2/11/2015 3:51:07 AM
