| CN local halts at the former GB&W Norwood Yard at Green Bay, WI on 14 Jan. '15. Local was preparing to service Fox River Grain Elevator, which is part of Fox River Valley Ethanol, near Oshkosh, WI. They were formerly GB Elevator and Utica Energy, respectively, until they were purchased and renamed by Ace Ethanol in 2013. The elevator dates to at least 1910 and other former names include Didion Elevator and Strid Elevator. I wish I could have found a better shot of the interesting flatcar loads on the right. |
