Chuck Zeiler	General	I talked to a former CB&Q/BN Engineer who told me that the rear porthole, on the Engineer's side only, was painted for modesty purposes. The toilet (dry hopper) was located in that area. He suspected that there might have been complaints from passing passenger trains observing the "call of nature" in process. He also mentioned that carmen disliked replacing brake shoes on the truck below for obvious reasons.	11/2/2018 11:22:55 AM
