| This is a weird one. Back in 89, Tyson bought a branch to preserve access to their big feed mill in Ivalee. 293 went from being just the plant switcher to being a Class 3 shortline unit. However, unit grain trains still came in with run-through CSX power & crews, so 293 still just worked the mill. After many years of ownership, Tyson sold the line back to CSX and exited the railroad business. |
