DMU leader 1138 peeks through the Chao Praya River bridge approaching the platform at Ayuthaya with an outbound commuter run. The prominent standpipe is one of 2 set here for watering the steam engines which make thier regular runs as far as here before reversing back to Bangkok. Ayuthaya is world famous for the nearby temple ruins with the face of a bhudda sticking out of some tree roots. |
