The worst place for a train to wreck was on a bridge, Vern. It didn't matter how high it was, either, because a lot of trainmen were killed or injured, and the damage was compounded, then.

From 1965 Newspaper article: 6 Injured, Enginner breaks neck. The bridge was demolished, and rebuilt and stood in service until 1972
