The Newest Acquisition         
For the first time in my life, the museum owns a locomotive that is younger than I am. This may be old hat for other railfans but for me it is a wierd feeling.

Andre Wehrle General I had it in my head that this was the locomotive that sat alone on a siding at Dixon for many years, gradually falling apart, until being rescued and donated. However, I was mistaken. The unit at Dixon was 1801 and its trail on here goes cold after one photograph at Brownsville, TX in 2017. 8/22/2022 12:43:50 PM
