The vacant Ross building now occupies the site of MoPac's Brownsville Depot; the most southern depot on Missouri Pacific Lines. The Valley Eagle called this terminal home until it was discontinued in 1962. While I don't give a darn about the Ross bldg which occupies the spot of the razed depot; the hotel ~El Jardin~dates back to many MoP postcards. Ultimateley the hotel will suffer the same fate as the MoPac depot. This is the view from Levee St. |
