Hutchinson & Northern Railway 3 at Hutchinson, Kansas on August 16, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 3 was built in March 1948 as 65 ton Kansas City Pulbic Service 2 (c/n 29312) and lasted into the 1950 until the wires came down. It was sold to Carey Salt Company for use on theip Hutchinson & Northern Railway, becoming H&N 3. It lasted on the H&N until February 1970, when the wires came down, and was sold to a private indivdual, overhauled, and movec to storage in Pennsylvania. |
