| A rare meet, of sorts, between a CN local and a CN ore train on the small industrial island in Menasha, WI on 5 May '14. The local, led by IC 3138, waits in the background next to the Fox River Navigation Canal. The ore train crawled through Menasha pulling 215 ore cars via former joint MILW/SOO rails. It pulled up as far as the swing bridge over the canal, halted, then reversed to back into the former SOO yard at Neenah. Ore train had four locomotives, led by CN 5542. |
