GCRY Williams Flyer
Shortly after its 11:45 arrival at Grand Canyon, passengers began to detrain from the Grand Canyon Railway's WILLIAMS FLYER. The train has been opened up ahead of the last short dome car so that passengers can more easily get to the depot, whose roof is visible above the last car. The El Tovar Hotel is across the road from the station, and the South Rim of the canyon is right on the other side of the hotel

The train is parked on track 4, while the two tracks in the foreground are 5 and 6. These two no longer connect to the main line, and are mostly covered with crushed stone so passengers can more easily get to the tour busses parked on the left. The bus parking area was previously occupied by one or more additional tracks.

Today's 13-car train - the maximum size which will fit into the station - consisted of F40's 237 and 295, open-window former SP coach 2193, former RDC's 306, 301, 800 and 801, CAFE CAR 2096, coaches 7608 ARIZONA and 2095 ANASAZI, short domes 2097 KOKOPELLI, 2094 COCONINO and 7034 GRAND VIEW, great dome 8742 FRED HARVEY and parlor-observation car 255 CHIEF.
