UP 2212 and UP 722 pull a train of 89-foot flatcars, 89-foot bi-level autoracks, and DODX heavy-duty flatcars, loaded with military vehicles for TF 632, underneath I-94 as they head east via former C&NW rails parallel to Foley Rd. at Tomah, WI in the early evening hours of 22 Jun. ’00. I know the quality of this photo is poor, but I waited for 4 days to catch this trainload of my unit’s equipment leaving Ft. McCoy, unfortunately this is the best shot I got. TF 632, a battalion-size task force consisting primarily of units from 1-632D AR and 2-127TH IN, WIARNG, had rail loaded its equipment for deployment to Gowen Field, ID, for AT ’00. |
