Ryan Rasmussen General Mike, thank you SO much for uploading these pictures of longhorn RR equipment. My interest in the line has been growing recently so I'm looking for all the documentation on the AUNW & LHRR as possible. If you have more photos of these ops in the area PLEASE upload them. Thanks for helping preserve the history of this line! 10/3/2013 3:58:30 AM

Steve Young General The 7601 was rebuilt by M-K in 1976 and given their model designation TE53-1-4E, which would imply that it has a Sulzer prime mover. Went to Port of Beaumont at some point after this, according to Bob Lehmuth. Is it still there? 10/10/2018 4:30:17 PM
Steve Young General Oops, my mistake; EMD prime movers. So, not really a U-boat any more! 10/10/2018 5:06:24 PM
