Waybill for KGCX #419, a covered hopper containing sodium, loaded by the Koppers Company
Among items of interest on this waybill are the routing (B&O Potomac Yard; RF&P Richmond; Seaboard System to CIRR at Saffold, GA), the weight information from the scale at Cumberland, MD and the door seal information for the 6 openings (seals 894253 thru 894258 inclusive)

Charles Stookey General Interesting comment of it being a private car. No back haul for this car. 8/6/2013 1:04:37 AM
Bryan Smith General This car was probably used for only moving sodium sulphate and was probably leased by the shipper. Most chemical companies lease or own their own cars due to the specialized nature of their loads. Owning and leasing them also ensures a supply of cars and eliminates demurrage charges since private cars on a private track are not subject to railroad demurrage. 9/7/2014 8:41:18 AM
