EPRY 3153  Contributor's Pick!
Ex-Conrail 1933 (blt 5/78) went to CSX in the split-up of 1999, but never received CSX paint. Arriving on East Penn property in Conrail Quality Blue, she was repainted into the handsome Blue/Yellow EPRY scheme shortly after acquistion; she is seen here resting at the northern terminus of the Quakertown branch.

Bob Krug General I was employed at the GE locomotive works as a manufacturing engineering trainee in 1978, and I remember that we were assembling a set of locomotives for Conrail that were numbered in the 1900 series - so I very likely saw this one while it was being built! Thanks for sharing - nice to know that an old acquaintance is nearby... 7/7/2013 10:16:30 PM
