| Seen here is an old sign from the Central of Georgia warning of an upcoming drawbridge. This sign was located on the Alabama side of the Chattahoochee River near Columbia AL for many years. It was rescued by a private individual who found it laying amongst a pile of scrap. It has been in private hands for years and now the owner has graciously donated it to the Columbia AL Historical society.
