CN 2595 WB Downgrade Through the Tunnels/Rock Sheds in the Spectacular White Canyon  Contributor's Pick!
CN A411 (manifest) North Battleford SK to Vancouver BC WB on the CN Ashcroft Subdivision along the Thompson River. Severe downgrade can be seen as the train enters the tunnels at perhaps 10 feet above where it exits. Electric wires strung between the poles trigger signal lights if anything (e.g. a rockslide) contacts the wires. Track of the CP Thompson Subdivision can be seen in the foreground. 1157 hours.
