| The UP decided it did not need all those cabs, and ordered a variety of "B" units from EMD, including, besides the usual E and F units, GP9s, GP30s, SD24s and DD35s. By the 1980s most of these were off the roster, though some GP30Bs hung on in storage at Yermo. Here are a couple, awaiting a call that would not come. |
