Algoma Central Railway GP7R 102 at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on August 15, 1984, Kodachrome by Roger E. Beighley, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 102 was built in January 1952 (c/n A272) as AC GP7 162, remanufactured in June 1978 as AC GP7R 102 (new c/n A3543), wrecked in 1994 at Mile 111 and scrapped. One of the spotting features of a remanufacturered Algoma GP7 was the small electical box on the running board behind the cab on the Conductor's side. |
