| BUTTE MT Sept 26 1978 -- Burlington Northern GP30 2215 is idled by a nationwide railroad strike. EMD built the unit (s/n 28276) in May 1963 as Great Northern 3015 and delivered it in Simpl. Empire Builder paint. It was retired on Sept 5 1989, rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in December 1989 as BN GP39M 2829 and became BNSF 2829.
