| MP 14305 at Cotter, Arkansas on July 13, 1988, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was one of 50 mail and express boxcars built by the MP at their DeSoto shops in 1962. As built it had two sliding boxcar-type doors per side. Due to its lightweight construction, it was not suitable for general freight applications after the mail contracts were discontinued in 1967, thus the MOW assignment. |
