Date and location unknown. 829 was renumbered 2/52. Stored at Brewster 12/56. Dismantled there 9/64. After some additional research on the lead unit, it seems that NKP leased some articulated 2-6-6-2's from WL&E. USRA Mallets. They were numbered from 8001, 8002, 8003, and 8009 as WL&E and then 940-943 as NKP and all 4 of them were scrapped in 1955 at Luntz. They were Baldwins and were built in September and October of 1919. They were all renumbered in January of 1951. |
