| The reason for the cheap patch is the result of an accident in 1998. The metal under the window of the cab was busted. See photo: http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=661259 They probably did a quick patch job that badly rusted over time. The new patch job was probably done recently possibly in old Conrail territory where they had some Conrail blue paint left over!! |
