William H. Davis Jr. General Yes, I did know the 2066 was on the Madison Local, but wasn't sure when the train ran, I had made the trip to Portage to catch an 800 coal train on CP that was tied down there with a pair of red & white SOO SD60's for power, since CP wasn't running it for a while I went after the local when I saw that the light angles were good out the Madison Sub, I went out 15 miles chasing it to near Madison & came back for the 800 coal train & when I got back to Portage a CP crew was manning up on the 800, perfect timing, I was able to get the 800 coal train & got a bonus besides in the Madison Local G63 with the former Milwaukee Road Bandit 2066 leading. Funny how things turn out sometimes, I was told the day before by a friend I met at Oxmoor, Wi. that 2066 was on the Madison Local, but wasn't sure what time it ran, just so happened it ran before the coal train I was after so I went after it & luckily the 800 coal train crew was just loading up as I got back to Portage, perfect timing 5/24/2012 3:54:44 PM

William H. Davis Jr. General Too me these former Mikwaukee Road Bandits are very ugly, but the rarity of them makes up for the homeliness 5/25/2012 12:18:10 AM
