85 Years Young! Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 rolled out of the Baldwin Locomotive Works factory in Philadelphia PA in May 1927. The engine rolled its last revenue run for the Santa Fe in August 1953. Restoration was begun in 1986, with the first steam up occurring five years later, along with its first trip (Los Angeles to Bakersfield) in late 1991. |
