Tony Fernandez	General	Yuo've managed to get a shot of a rare locomotive, Gary. This is actually a 2300 hp GP39-2 (ex-MKT #378) that was built in Apr 1984, AFTER normal GP39-2 production had ceased. EMD built it using essentially a GP49 carbody, so it has the large radiator screens and `laundry chute' traction motor blower duct as shown in the photo. It would also have two radiator fans rather than the three associated with the GP50/60 products. Good catch!	4/24/2008 11:00:34 AM
