At the time, this car was owned by M&H Ch. NRHS. Sold to group in Rochester NY that had several 1939 Empire Cars, This car was planned to be a power car for them. AMTRAK had converted it to a power car but all innards were stripped before they sold it. Stored at Rensselaer NY before AMTRAK sold it.
