Alex Merrill General Beautiful shot of these two locomotives, Austin! I love seeing this because I have a video on my phone (which is actually not too bad) of this same train leaving Shiremanstown Yard at around noon. I saw it because school let out early due to the Easter Holiday. Thanks for including some photos of the Shippensburg Secondary in your albums. I wish more people would. If you ever get the oppurtunity, head over to the Mulberry drive crossing in Mechanicsburg. There is an elevated curve/siding that is served occasionally by NS. I have a gentleman I know in the Shiremanstown Yard who informed me that a few years ago, they were trying to deliver a high cube box car to the business, and as they were shoving it up the curve, its top heaviness caused it to fall over into the small stream that runs under. Thanks again!!!! P.S. If you are in the area, go over to the ADM Milling plant in Camp Hill (near Route 15) There is a former Illinois Central SW9 there that has been photographed only once.
