Alex Vaughn General Nice catch! 3/31/2012 3:16:30 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Alex, had to wait about 8 hours for this train to run, it almost ran too late for any good shots, another 30 minutes later I wouldn't have been able to get any shots, the power stays inside a Borax company in Trona & you can't get any roster shots had they not run a train, all fenced in & can't trespass inside the plant. I really wanted power with the Trona Railway scheme, but they haven't painted any yet, but I'll take former SP Tunnel Motors leading, all 6 units were online & sounded awesome rumbling by me 3/31/2012 5:52:37 AM

William H. Davis Jr. General I hear you Chris, I almost gave up mostly because of the milky clouds filtering the sun that day, when the power came out to get their train together some clear spots opened up that I call sucker holes so decided to take a chance & glad I did, sometimes you get rewarded for your efforts & sometimes you don't, but more often than not I've been lucky with my efforts over the years, sometimes I have knowledge of when & where to catch some shortlines or regionals, but sometimes you have to rely on luck that you'll catch something running, most cases you will, unless who you visit is a night running operation, then you just have to hope for roster shots 4/1/2012 11:18:06 AM
