Milwaukee Road passenger train passing St Paul Daytons Bluff prior to Amtrak years in 1969.
The CB&Q, Milwaukee Road and CGW once had huge yards near this spot. This train just left the St Paul MN depot about a mile and is headed to Chitown.

Robert Anderson General Another good memory. The Morning HI at Hoffman Ave Tower. Lots of activity then and now. A key spot for sure.If those six tracks could talk. Milw East/West frt mains,West/East Psgr mains(Rule 251 keep left in those days) and 2 CB&Q yd leads. CNW ran left side and ATSF had sretches of keep left in NM/AZ but not all that common. Thanks for the trip back. 6/7/2018 12:25:00 AM
