Amazing that it's still up at all...must be built to last (like so many things were "way back then") - thanks, Fred, for showing us this. I'll bet there are a lot of beer bottles inside those structures!

The railroads built these things like battleships. Much easier to let them stand than to try and knock them down, since many of them (like this one) are near active tracks or mainlines.
