RMPX GP40-2 #6424 was built November 1979 as DT&I #424 and later became Grand Trunk & Western #6424. Unit was scrapped after grade crossing accident with cotton truck at Goodway, Alabama

The damage caused by the firs gives this an almost unworldly feeling as if the metal was dancing in the wind almost like the weeds on the left seem to be doing.
