SCXY 1363
It's nice to see older generation Geeps still in active service even if they aren't on Class One RRs. GP9 #1363 is a former GN Geep, it went into BN in the 1970 merger, but retired by BN, ILSX picked it up and leased it to the SCXY, when it first came to the SCXY, it's classifcation lights weren't capped and it was in a ugly green and yellow scheme. In 2009, when the Snake River Bridge was closed due to slight rebuild, the GP9 went for a nice repaint. GP8 #1352 started out as a IC GP7 and was rebuilt to it's current look by the IC. After it was retired, ILSX picked it up and became the new lease unit for the SCXY. It too got the NP Tribute Scheme. Both units look very sharp and amazing in this scheme

Karl Andraschko General Eric, that paint scheme was an MKT based scheme from when the 1363 worked the Nobles Rock line (now the MSWY). 11/17/2012 8:17:33 AM
