The last time I photographed Birmingham Southern was in the mid-1970's, and they were nowhere as colorful as this.

Yeah, This is the only unit painted in this scheme that I know of, used to be green just like the rest, I guess this is a special scheme commemorating something, but I don't know what. The 219 usually stays within the plant so very difficult to catch, seems like it's always deep inside of U.S. Steel where you can't get a shot without getting busted
