According to Cordova Bay Station, BNSF 1211 is a Green Goat created from BNSF #1370, a GP7u, by Alstonm under contract from Railpower Technologies at Ogden Shops in Calgary. A cab is unnecessary as the unit is controlled by a belt pack.
