Bernie Feltman General They say the crews really like the new cabs on these rebuilds 5/15/2011 10:40:35 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General That's what they say, they're not talking about looks though, they're talking about how roomy they are, etc. I have yet to run one, but I'm sure mechanically they're great, but just like all other locomotives they'll get worn out. My opinion about the looks of the SD40-3 cab design is that they're very ugly, but I guess as long as they have no mechanical problems that's all that matters. They look very much like C40-8's in the nose & cab 5/15/2011 10:47:36 AM

William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks, I like NS'S SD40-2 rebuilds better, but both styles went from good looking to ugly compared to the original design 10/29/2013 10:44:21 PM
