Union Pacific Railroad GP50 66 at Cotter, Arkansas on June 8, 1989, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 66 was built in January 1981 as MP GP50 3516 (c/n 807023-7), delivered in Jenks Blue paint, repainted to MP/UP yellow on November 9, 1984, at which time it received the North Little Rock style Missouri Pacific lettering. It was renumbered to UP 66 on October 7, 1988, at which time it received standard UP lettering. It was renumbered to UP 976 on September 13, 1991, renumbered to UP 5574 on May 4, 1998, renumbered again to UP 1670 on July 13, 2004. |
