Ted Brumberg General Built in 1947 by Budd in Lot #9613-004 as NYC 56 seat chair #2901 (1 of 60 such cars, #2900-#2959), later PC #2901, to Amtrak in 1974 as #5641. Retired and=sold to Denver Railcar as DRCX #5641. Denver Railcar planned to name this car the SILVER ELM, this name was shortened to ELM when applied. Also was numbered as #800546. Morristown & Erie later acquired 6 of these NYC 56 seat chairs frlm Denver Railcar, and the #5641 was renumbered to ME #1004. 2/10/2015 4:43:05 AM
