| Built in August 1972 as Penn Central 8028, entering Conrail with the same number until being returned to EMD in July 1987. This unit worked as EMDX 828 in lease service until purchased by Union Pacific in April 1998 and assigned road number 1952, renumbered 452 in November 2001, and retired on May 21, 2003. After retirement this Geep was picked up by Locomotive Leasing Partners and numbered LLPX 2234 still operating in UP colors. |
