Yes It's Raining, But It's the Pacific Northwest  Contributor's Pick!
The Kettle Falls International Railway's Waneta/Columbia Gardens (British Columbia) Job runs from Kettle Falls, WA along the 150 mile long Roosevelt Lake (formed by the Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River) and into Canada (about 48 miles). It is called a about 7:00 a.m., makes up it's train, heads north about 8:00 a.m., and crosses into Canada about noon. The picture was taken in northeast Washington State a couple of miles from the Canadian border and just above the lake so that is the river.

Switchman Images General Amazing, was this line very chasable, higher (40mph) or slower (10mph) speeds? Their roster leaves a lot to be desired, but the scenery is sure worth it!! 9/15/2012 2:51:04 PM
