SNDX 902 With Tr. 1705  Contributor's Pick!
The Weather Channel said fully sunny at sunrise for Edmonds, WA on Puget Sound 18 miles north of King Street Station in Seattle. Wrong! Cold, dark, and totally socked in. The only saving grace was that Sounder sent down its "orca" paint-scheme diesel shown slowing for the station with the third (of four) morning commuter run Everett to Seattle. Well, with a little pan, I at least caught the nose in focus. Orca is of course the name of the whales everybody up here loves and is also the name of the Seattle area multi-transit-agency pass the diesel advertises.
