Vintage CNJ caboose
The story with this caboose is it was formerly used for a little ice cream shop, next to the Depot Restaurant, at DiSalvos Station in Latrobe, Pa. Unfortunately it has been left to fall into sad shape. There seems to be no information on the internet about the roster number of this. The Central New Jersey Railroad existed from 1839 to 1976 when it became part of Conrail. Since this caboose is made of wood, it has to be very old. An added bonus here is the "Virginia" passenger car of the Norfolk Southern OCS train up above.
