Standard Sand and Silica Company 648/ Ex ACL 648
Found this on the internet about its history "It is the real ACL 648, an SW-7 built in April 1950. Became SCL 130. Was acquired by what is now the Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish, Florida when it was retired by SCL. They restored it into the ACL colors. Sold it to the Standard Sand and Silica Company at Davenport back in the mid 1990s."

David Barrentine General Nice shot. It's a shame they're letting the paint fade, the purple ACL paint is one of the best looking paints to me. 11/30/2010 9:01:05 PM
Paul Martinez General I am planning to take pictures of this engine in Davenport in a few days! 2/29/2020 3:51:30 PM
