Here is a postal card entitled "Horseshoe Curve." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "Conrail SD45 6234, on the rear of a four-unit pusher set, helps lift an ore train up around the Horseshoe Curve as 6166 and 6082 brake downgrade toward Altoona, PA. Regarded as one of the greatest engineering achievements of all time, the Horseshoe Curve was opened for rail traffic in February 1853. Photo: Carl H. Sturner Collection."
