KCS SD50 707
Kansas City Southern 704-713 were built in May and June 1981 as the first regular production SD50 units. These ten locomotives, along with GP40-2's 796 and 797, were built with a forward-facing strobe light and two roof-mounted strobes. The 707 was two-and-a-half years old when it was photographed at West Yard, just outside of New Orleans.
