Thanks to an unknown person at the horseshoe curve at Lewis Run for the suggestion of this bridge, and due to the train having to take a second run at the hill out of Lewis Run, I was spared extra time to find this spot off of my routine chase. SAFETY NOTE: I could see just as far behind me too.

Jim Cook General I'm not sure but I think the area you were in is called Backus, PA. It used to be an interchange area for the Kinzua, Mt Jewett, and Ritterville RR and the Buffalo, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Railway. To the left of picture, out of sight, about a 600' beside the track is a foundation left from BRPRR depot, and to the right of the picture about 1000' is a Kinzua, Mt Jewett, & Ritterville RR tunnel that the current B&P RR goes over. My understanding in the area was a tannery also. 2/20/2012 10:22:14 AM
