William H. Davis Jr. General No, They could get by with one. The train turns back the same day & is easier to have a units back to back so they can run around the train, do a brake test, and head back east to Missoula. Also it's smart to have a back up in case one of the units has a mechanical failure. 8/31/2009 9:02:36 AM
