Ron Moraca General Superb photo, Paul!!!!!! 9/19/2009 6:47:48 PM
Mason Soliday General Seeing two engines on freight trains were not very common back then. 1586 however has the WORST RS5T I HAVE EVER HEARD, even for a straight SD40! Hard to believe both units are now retired; 1586 is now a slug, and 4616 went to Progress Rail in 2020 and I can only assume that it has been scrapped 5/4/2024 1:22:51 PM
Mason Soliday General Additionally, 4616 was one of the only GP59s to receive a P5 shortly after being built 5/4/2024 1:24:11 PM
Mason Soliday General Then other GP59s later got P5s; 4613 and 4622 were some of them 5/25/2024 12:02:45 PM
