Sperry Rail Service Test Car #132 was built in 1925 (by St. Louis Car Company) as Seaboard Air Line "Doodlebug" #2003. Sperry acquired the car from Seaboard Air Line in January 1942. #132 is 59' 7" in length, 13' high and 10' 4" wide with a weight of 142,000 pounds

TERRENCE ROBLE General This is a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY rare photograph of a defect detector with the old display board, I seen a diagram of these in the old SBD timetables and not until I seen this photograph that I ever seen an authentic one.
