SP GP35 6597, Phoenix, Arizona, October 1979, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Built as road number 7700 in December 1964 (c/n 29702) on EMD Order 7756, it was renumbered in 1965 to road number 6597. I cannot find a record of this locomotive having been rebuilt.
